Description:
"Mi yo yo – casa de nines" [My Yo-Yo – Dollhouse] is a project in which a miniature version of the artist wanders through a dollhouse, leaping from one floor to the next. The ground floor houses an Art Centre where she presents her exhibitions. The work reflects on the disparity in opportunities between local/regional artists and those based in major urban centers, while also addressing the superficiality often encountered in the art world. Although Brugat notes that things have gradually improved over time, there remains a long way to go.
