The Crocus project is a kind of premonition of what would happen to us a few months later with the Covid-19 pandemic. However, this project envisages an epidemic that affects an entire country due to the yellow virus.
Crocus was born in turbulent times when the color yellow had almost become a symbol of veneration for some and a symbol of hatred for others. Some put on thousands of yellow ribbons and others took them off, it was like a game of cat and mouse. All this happened at a time of great fear due to the application of article 155 in Catalonia (approved by the Senate on September 27, 2017). A very complicated period for the Catalan population whether you were a supporter of yellow or not.
This piece aims to make us reflect on political-social behavior and phobias. In an X-ray of the human hip and coccyx, we find a yellow ribbon, as if it were part of our genetics.
