This site-specific landscape intervention was developed on the occasion of an exhibition at Nau Côclea (Camallera), in collaboration with the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
In this project, Brugat examines a natural landscape deeply familiar to her and reinterprets it from a new perspective. She places colored glass over the bird hide observation windows and creates an installation on a pond featuring birdhouse feeders populated with plastic Walt Disney figurines. Through this gesture, she draws a parallel between the living and moving, and the static and lifeless.
… de pas

...de pas [...in Passing] is a collaborative project created alongside Elena Font Rodà and Clara Oliveras at the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
Within this framework, Rosa Brugat developed St. James’ Park Duck Goes on Holiday to Spain. The piece explores travel as an existential journey, tracing the odyssey of a duck traveling from its tranquil pond in London to the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà. Along the way, it crosses different territories, absorbing culture, civilization, and knowledge, but also pollution and suffering—the latter causing it to gradually lose its feathers.
This work was also exhibited at the Westminster Reference Library in London.
